| Soundtrack Composer Bill McGee |
About the artist: My most hopeful dreams as a songwriter,
(classified as a Contemporary Electronic New Age musician), was to write, and share my music through film. My late brother
Wayne McGee, had help pioneer the IMAX film industry in the mid 1980's, with the IMAX film . . ."CHRONOS" with his efforts
in special effects. I felt that film association was in my soul as well. Always thinking that what I compose on the electronic
keyboard would reach peoples hearts best through movie soundtrack music...is now becoming a realization.
Tom Bertling (producer/director) offered me this opportunity early
in 2004, to expose my music through his upcoming film..."Lexie Cannes". After months of preparation and polished efforts between
Tom and myself, the soundtrack for this film was born. Bertling's enthusiasm in my music for this film was so obvious and
complementary, when he suggested that together we compile these songs for a promotional cd...that project came to life...immediately.
We hope that our efforts as a . . . (producer/director/songwriter team), will prove to the world, that independent film makers
will reach the summit along side with the major motion picture film makers of the world. Bill McGee (Songwriter/Musician/Composer)
